Komotion, Bob, and Charley, the poodle, were the hit of a Christmas Parade last Saturday. I heard someone shout from the crowd, "Look at Santa being pulled by a mule! " Oh well, gotta love em' tis' the season. :O)

Racer does it again! A dark brown/gray jennet born July 27th, 2004, with heavy garters. This is Just Precious at her 5 day old arrival party. Mom and baby doing fine. Congratulations Mike, Sherry, Bailey, Tyler, Brett Saunders of Leiper's Fork, Tennessee.

Here is a new jennet foal born July 27th, 2004, for new owners WhyNameIt Farm in Leiper's Fork, Tennessee sired by our herd sire, Sunset Acres Speedway Racer. She is a dark brown/gray with heavy garters. Congratulations to the proud owners The Saunders. This picture was taken at her arrival party five days after she was born. She had to have a "donkey nap" after all the excitement.

We are so excited for four of our donkeys that have a wonderful home with Cheri Lessacher and her grand son, Tyler. Cheri has given them so much love and unlimited experiences and is so willing to share the “joy of donkeys” with other people. The donkeys have started training to become Certified Therapy Donkeys and the following pictures were taken of Cheri, Tyler, Star, Abby, Maddie, and Skylar and their friends that were invited over for Community Service Work. Notice the donkeys are being ridden with no bit in their mouths. They are trained to move to the voice commands or body movements of the rider. Awesome!!!!! The look on the faces of the children and the donkeys says it all. The love and care that these donkeys receive is so evident in these pictures and we are proud to have Wit’s End Donkeys be a part of such a special family. Keep up the good work, Cheri and Tyler. Check back for updates on the progress of these donkeys as they earn their certification.

Talk about fun with a miniature donkey. Here is Tyler with his special friend, Maddie. The two of them enjoy daily rides in the pastures and woods. Tyler has taught Maddie to drive without a bit in her mouth. She moves to his voice commands and body movements. Good job, Tyler.

Bridget is wearing her ribbon for 6th place in the 3 Year Old Jennets halter class at the 2003 Cheers For Ears Show. She was proud and we were too. The class was very large and this was her first show. Keep up the good work, Bridget!

Looks like the judge was impressed with Big E and mostly Little E as she brought home the red ribbon for 2nd place in the costume class at the 2003 Cheers For Ears show. Big E just showed up for the event.

Katie Baker is working with Cricket to teach her to lead and park before she leaves for her new home.

Hannah Baker is working with Dayle Rio teaching her to lead, park, and load on the trailer. Both of these girls are doing a fine job with the Wit's End donkeys. They work very hard and love to be with them and help them learn good manners.

This little cabin is where we can relax and enjoy family and friends while viewing our donkeys and other farm animals.

This is Fancy Pants with Jeffrey Osment at the Shelbyville National Mule and Donkey Show held June 2002. This is the first time Fancy had been to a show so she was very busy visiting this year instead of winning ribbons. Jeffrey and Fancy did enter the Youth Lead Race but she was not real excited about it. Jeffrey did a great job showing her and he thinks she'll do much better next year. Fancy can't decide what classes to enter next year but she was really eyeing those 'coon' jumpers! Jeffrey said he was game!

Here is Fancy Pants with her best friend Windcrest Maddie. This is Fancy with her leggings on before she was trimmed for the Shelbyville Show.

Blue Moon said, "Now what did I do with my new red ball?"
