We were all
so excited about Bridget's due date of March 17, St. Patrick's Day. We had several names
picked out for her. However, that day came and went as many other's did as well and Bridget
was getting SO VERY BIG and not close to delivery. I posted on the message board that if
she went past 13 months, maybe she was bred to an elephant. That was my first mistake. Everyone
wanted to know if a cross between a donkey and an elephant would be an "elephunkey." Thanks
to one of our dedicated MareStare viewer, she sent us a picture of the, indeed rare species,
the elephunkey.
Here is a picture of EL-Leigh
No "phunkey" in this girl! No way I was going to name that "Little Soul" an elephunkey.
This little bundle of sweetness is the cutest little red head you've ever seen. She certainly
carries the best of genes from both her Sire and her Dam. Miss EL-Leigh has that short stocky
body, strong stout legs, a gorgeous round rump, dark red , perfect bite, and personality
PLUS! She will make an excellent addition to someone's herd and will be a show stopper for
sure. We are offering her to some loving home that will love and appreciate her beauty and
loving personality.
Congratulations to Paul & Kaye Graves Tennessee!!!
